Water Colouring

My new year’s resolution was to participate in at least one blog challenge a week in the hope of ensuring that no matter how busy my working week is I would be sure to get some crafting time every week. Well…it’s only the first month of 2012 and I have already missed a week. Not too worry…this week I’ve decided to enter several challenges to make up for it. I love challenges because they help me to create, particularly on those days when I’m stumped and don’t know where to start. Lately, I’m finding sketch challenges the best because they allow me to team up my own colours, stamps and paper whilst giving me a starting point.

This week, I am going to use each challenge to show you some simple techniques to make the most of your stash. My last two challenge entries, showcased fussy cutting, used to create dimension and depth to my projects. Today’s technique is water colouring and I’ve entered this card in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 225. All you need to get started is an ink pad and a blender pen.

And here is the sketch

See you again soon.
